A quietly moving sci-fi tale with robots
BatteryNote is a premium adventure game that lets you revive and interact with three robots nearing the end of their lifespan. You’ll explore their memories, make choices that shape their fates, and witness a series of emotionally resonant outcomes that highlight the fragile line between life, connection, and decay.
A garage full of last chances
In BatteryNote, you play as a mechanic who finds three discarded robots in a scrapyard and brings them back to life inside a dim garage. Each has a distinct background, from the combat-built Devind R7 to others with gentler roles. Through conversations, you uncover fragments of their memories and decide how they’ll spend their remaining moments.
You spend most of your time recharging the robots, chatting with them, or testing their reactions by applying voltage. Every decision subtly alters dialogue and endings. With its visual novel format, paired with pixel art graphics, the game offers a warm retro feel. While the entire playthrough is short, it manages to leave an emotionally satisfying experience.
Compact yet thought-provoking
BatteryNote may be brief, but it tells a story that sticks with you. It gently explores connection, memory, and the weight of your choices, letting you consider how even small actions matter. Spending time with the robots feels personal, and the game leaves you quietly reflecting on the bonds you’ve shaped, long after the battery runs out.
